Welcome to the Trojan Marching Invitational Information Page.  We are excited to provide the opportunity for a marching contest in the Chattanooga area at the end of marching/contest season.  The Trojan Marching Invitational will be organized and hosted by the Soddy Daisy HS Band Booster Organization.  It will be held at Robert Talaska Field, in the stadium on the campus of Soddy-Daisy HS.  The field is always maintained and groomed to perfection, and the stadium is a great venue for being able to watch marching bands!

Music Ensemble – Blair Calloway
Visual Ensemble – Caleb Rowland
Visual Effect – Chad Guess
Color Guard/Auxiliary – Amy Stewart
Percussion – Ethan McDaniel

Judges will use the Tennessee Bandmasters Association Judging Sheets
There will be 1 judge per caption.  This contest will not score Drum Majors/Field Commanders.

Classification will be based on TOTAL members in band (winds, percussion, & auxiliary)
Group A – 1-35
Group AA – 36-60
Group AAA – 61-95
Group AAAA – 96-135
Group AAAAA – 136 and up

Awards will be given in the following categories:
Awards in each division  (A, AA, AAA, AAAA, AAAAA) (1st place, 2nd place)
Small Division Champion (A, AA, AAA)
Large Division Champion (AAAA, AAAAA)
Grand Champion overall: Class A through AAAAA
Award for first place guard and percussion in each class

Entry fee is $100 per band. (Checks made payable to SDHS Band Boosters)
Deadline for Registration is SEPTEMBER 25th, 2026
Individual and group photography, concessions, merchandise, and much more will be available at the competition.
