DESCRIPTION:The Clinch River Classic uses outstanding adjudicators and Tennessee Bandmasters Association (TBA) scoring sheets (https://tennesseebandmasters.org/marching-band/). \nThe CRC features six classifications to ensure fair competition and even awards distribution. Four band judges will evaluate in areas of music ensemble\, music effect\, visual ensemble\, and visual effect. Caption judges will be in the areas of color guard\, drum major\, and percussion. \nParking at CRC is free. There will be signs and volunteers to let you know where to park. ​​ \nFood trucks and a concession stand will provide a wide variety of foods and drinks available throughout the day. Spectators should use the back entrance of the school to access the designated spectator lot\, while the main entrance is reserved for buses and equipment trailers. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Trojan Marching Invitational Information Page.  We are excited to provide the opportunity for a marching contest in the Chattanooga area at the end of marching/contest season.  The Trojan Marching Invitational will be organized and hosted by the Soddy Daisy HS Band Booster Organization.  It will be held at Robert Talaska Field\, in the stadium on the campus of Soddy-Daisy HS.  The field is always maintained and groomed to perfection\, and the stadium is a great venue for being able to watch marching bands! \nCaptions/judges in the following categories:\nPlease click on each of the judges to view their full Bios.\nMusic Effect – Randall Coleman\nMusic Ensemble – Blair Calloway\nVisual Ensemble – Caleb Rowland\nVisual Effect – Chad Guess\nColor Guard/Auxiliary – Amy Stewart\nPercussion – Ethan McDaniel \nJudges will use the Tennessee Bandmasters Association Judging Sheets\nThere will be 1 judge per caption.  This contest will not score Drum Majors/Field Commanders. \nClassification will be based on TOTAL members in band (winds\, percussion\, & auxiliary)\nGroup A – 1-35\nGroup AA – 36-60\nGroup AAA – 61-95\nGroup AAAA – 96-135\nGroup AAAAA – 136 and up \nAwards will be given in the following categories:\nAwards in each division  (A\, AA\, AAA\, AAAA\, AAAAA) (1st place\, 2nd place)\nSmall Division Champion (A\, AA\, AAA)\nLarge Division Champion (AAAA\, AAAAA)\nGrand Champion overall: Class A through AAAAA\nAward for first place guard and percussion in each class \nEntry fee is $100 per band.
