SUMMARY:Hendersonville Golden Invitational
DESCRIPTION:The 37th annual Hendersonville Golden Invitational will be held Saturday\, September 12\, 2026 at Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville\, TN.  The event will take place in our new (in 2025) football stadium! \n\nJust as in past years our event will be a single-run competition.  Every band will go straight from the field to a session indoors with one of our three highly-qualified critique judges.  The band members and staff will get immediate feedback from the adjudicator as they watch and listen to the performance they just presented on the field. \nADJUDICATION FORMAT:  Tennessee Bandmasters (TBA) Sheets \nJudging Panel (Scoring):\nMusic Ensemble – JoAnn Hood – Retired Band Director\, John Overton High School\, Nashville\nMusic Effect –  Brent Burris – Former Director Muhlenberg County/Glasgow HS\, KY \nVisual Ensemble – Michael Rosson – Band Director\, Nashville School of the Arts\nVisual Effect – Blair Callaway – Instructor Instrumental Music Ed at Jacksonville State University\nPercussion – Eric Baumgardner – Band Director\, Halls High School\, TN\nColor Guard – Johnny Guzman – Freelance Color Guard Adjudicator\, Atlanta\, GA \nCritique/Clinic Panel (Non-Scoring):\nNon-Scoring Critique – Dr. Jeff Phillips – Retired Band Director\, Hendersonville High School\, TN\nNon-Scoring Critique – JR Baker – Fine Arts Director\, Robertson County Schools\nNon-Scoring Critique – Dr. Bryan Braue – Associate Director of Bands\, Director of Athletic Bands\, MTSU \n\nRather than specify classifications ahead of time\, we will create four equally-populated (or as close to equal as possible) classes based on number of musicians in each group. \nPerformance Order in each class will be determined by reverse of order of completed registrations.  Your registration will be completed by 1) Submitting this Form and 2) Our Receipt of the $100 Registration Fee. \n**Please fill out what you know now and you will be contacted a few weeks prior to the contest to update your info** \nMail your Registration Fee to:\nHHS Band Boosters\n123 Cherokee Road\nHendersonville\, TN 37075
